Hello Wonderful Cast, Crew, and Parents,
Thank you for all your hard work, time, and dedication to the show. It paid off! Everything looked wonderful and the show was a great success. We had 175 at the first show and sold out for the second show at 245. Thank you parents and boosters for supporting your student during the show and helping it become a success. Thank you boosters for the pizza yesterday! Strike Thank you for staying after the show and helping us clean up. We also did a huge portion of strike yesterday, so Monday should be super fast. Once we are done taking a part everything and cleaning the space, we will sign posters and say goodbye. Strike is mandatory today and it is from 4-6. Upperclassmen we can start right at 3pm. Choir we will get you out of strike by 5pm for rehearsal at O'Plaine. Thanks again and congratulations on a great show! Hi Parents, Cast, and Crew!
It's show week! 1 day until we have an audience! Thank you for all the hard work each and everyone of you have put into this production. I could not be prouder of you. Thank you parents for your support, donations, time, and dedication to getting your students to and from practice. We could not do it without you! Here are some last minute reminders: Show Tickets are Sale: The show is December 5th at 11am and 2pm. Buy tickets at at showtix4u.com! Tell everyone! It feels great to perform for a full house and know that everyone saw your hard work pay off. We have 107 coming to the 11am show and 90 coming to the 2pm show! Invite teachers, friends, family, and families with kids! We want to sell out! Thursday 12/3 Dress Rehearsal with costume crew, lights, sound, and cast. We are doing full dress/make up and I will be taking photos. Friday 12/4 Dress Rehearsal Drama Club Viewing at 4:15/30pm (show is one hour long) All Cast and Crew (wear your tshirts for the cast/crew photo! parents can come and take photos/video this day) Underclassmen Cast/Costume Crew- find rides over to Almond early from O'Plaine and ask parents if ok.I will also take photos this day and yearbook will be there too. Saturday 12/5 Show Day 9am call time/Shows at 11am and 2pm/ (Lunch provided by the Drama Boosters for the cast and crew who are working the show- cast, costumes, lights, sound, front of house. Bring drinks for yourself/ Front of Hosue wear black and white/ Crew wear black. Only costume crew, cast, lights/sound, and front of house need to come show day.) Everyone else come and bring younger siblings/friends to watch the show! I will need a few kids to stay and help take down the drop to ship back after the show. As we depart for the holiday weekend, I am reminded of how thankful I am for each and every student in our drama program. I am so thankful for your hard work, love for theatre, and positive attitudes toward each other. Thank you for working with me and making this production possible. We are nearing the end. Cast is memorized and running the show, set and prop crew is finished, costumes are finalized, lights and sound cues are done and they are running the show, and dramaturgy had a great presentation! Great Job cast and crew! Everything looks great! I'm so proud of everyone's wonderful work and thankful for all your time, energy, and positive attitudes. We will have a great show and it is all because of you! Thank you so much! We are nearing the end of the show. That means a lot needs to get done and there are some days we need to keep in mind. Thanks for all your hard work tonight! Only upperclassmen set crew, lights (nicole & cameron), and sound (megan & vineeta) tomorrow at Almond!Tomorrow, Wednesday- There is a musical information meeting for Mary Poppins in the auditorium from 3:30-4pm hosted by myself and Ms. Colgan. Anyone interested in being involved in the musical this year or even interested should attend. T-shirts are in tomorrow after school. If you ordered a t-shirt and paid for it, you can stop by the OP auditorium to get your t-shirt. Otherwise, I will hand them out at Almond tomorrow after 4pm or Thursday. Thank you for your flexibility, Mrs. Riddell ---------------------- Cast, I think you all need a day to get homework done and review lines on your own. (Record/write them out) No rehearsal tomorrow.
