It's here! It's here! It's time to audition for the fall plays!
Here's the scoop. Cast and Crew, fill out this form. If you want a crew leadership position, fill out the bonus questions on the form... good? Good. For those auditioning, you have a choice of a Shakespeare monologue or a comedic monologue (or a comedic Shakespeare monologue... whatever). It does NOT need to be memorized. It does need to be 1 minute or less. If you choose a non-Shakespeare monologue, it should be from a play, not a TV show or movie. Here's a couple of links to help you find one.
Order Your Swag Gear Now! Orders due April 4 (the next Drama Club Meeting)! Must pre-pay or we won't order your gear!
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdpD3f-QCUSYiqAvV0x9Nu1Gl6BA8alMfpCNoWkUhnKZ0k1lw/viewform?c=0&w=1 Thank you to all that auditioned! Remember, if you are not on the call back list, it does NOT mean you aren't in the show! Please check back Saturday evening for the cast/crew list.
Callback are tomorrow, Friday February 10th at 3:30 in the Oplaine Auditorium. Please email ncolgan@wths.net with any questions. Call Back List: Beemer, Holly Canada, Arthur Davis, Jaylen Dever, Caitlyn Dolphin, Sara Garner, Jared Guadiana, Marco Hawksworth, Megan Herbst, Paige Johnson-Rockingham, JaMia Kaniewski, Daniel Lavris, Katie MacLean, Colin Martinez, Andrea Moeller, Brooke Orenstein, Daphne Oye, Abby Relayson, Erryn Relova, Zac Villafan, Ben Wodek, Rose Zumpano, Max Auditions for Legally Blonde are quickly approaching! See the information below for specifics regarding the audition process.
Monologue: Please prepare a monologue less than 1 minute in length. The monologue should be in the style of the show, so pick something funny and upbeat! Singing: Student should sing a song of their choosing. Songs MUST be from a musical and not something from the radio. Songs should be 16-32 bars in length or less than a minute. You are required to provide accompaniment either through a karaoke track or a piano player. If you are using a track, please make sure to have the song cut to length, or know exactly where to start and end the track (ex. Track starts at 1:02 and stops at 1:57) We will provide speakers and auxiliary cord. I would suggest downloading the track to your device, instead of relying on our wi-fi to stream a youtube link. Be mindful of your song choice, Legally Blonde is fun and bubbly!! (show me your belt talent, if you've got it!) Dancing: There is a mandatory dance workshop on Monday February 6th from 3:30-5pm. You will meet our choreographer and learn the dance that will be used for auditions. Toward the end of the workshop, if anyone is interested in the part of Brooke Wyndam, you will learn a few dance moves with a jump rope. PLEASE WEAR DANCE CLOTHES (no jeans). Wear sneakers, jazz or character shoes. If this day is a conflict with other activities, please email ncolgan@wths.net to discuss other options. If you have any questions about the process, please email ncolgan@wths.net. We are looking forward to this season!!! The following are the assignments and mandatory call times for each. Please check to find your name and check the time commitments. A few reminders:
