Hello Cast, Crew, and Pit,
Next week is show week! We greatly appreciate your flexibility, time, and commitment to this show. It will be amazing and we can't wait to show it to friends, family, teachers, students, and the community. Schedule here Tomorrow 4/23- Cast, run crew, lights, sound, costumes, pit will run a dress rehearsal from 9-3pm on Saturday and fix problem spots. Bring a lunch or have it delivered! No rehearsal on Sunday. Cast- Please bring your makeup kit and bring in proper undergarments for changing in and out of costume everyday. Ladies, bring in tights, bobby pins, curling irons etc. Upper classmen come over early to get into makeup ahead of time. Mrs. Riddell will let you in as soon as you get here. Show Days: Call time for front of house, cast, running crew, lights, sound, & costume crew is 5:30pm the nights of the show April 28th & 29th. Call time on April 30th is 11:30 eat ahead of time or bring lunch. The show is at 2pm, but we have the Practically Perfect Meet & Greet before hand. The Boosters are graciously providing dinner in between the 2pm & 7pm show. It will be a long day. Prepare and bring snacks. Parent Help- We need every family to bring in a dessert donation to sell during intermission of the shows. Please bring them in in baggies or separated for individual purchase. If gluten free or has nuts, please label. Please bring things that can be served individually (example: cake is too hard to serve). You can start sending them in as of 4/27 for the shows. Tickets are on showtix4u.com, so please talk to friends and family for tickets. We want to sell out! Tell everyone! Warren Students are free, so please tell your friends to come! DVD Orders- The benefit to doing a Disney show is the right to film it and make a DVD. We will be filming this week! The Warren Drama Boosters are selling DVDs for $20. Please review the schedule (attached). Some crews will be meeting more often to finish up the set/props/costumes. We plan to get out at 6:30pm this week, but we will get out later the following week when costumes come in from the rental house and we are running the whole show (3 hours). We greatly appreciate your flexibility and support to make this show happen. Fly Days: Th 13th-16th are our scheduled fly days! This means that no one is allowed in the auditorium during those days of rehearsal. You will need to put your things in the choir room, and head to the cafeteria for choreography rehearsal with Tori. Pit students will have those 3 days to continue working on the music in the band room. Art Club is having a fundraiser at Panda Express (Grand/Brookside) from 3pm-11pm tonight 4/8. Art Club is helping us out by painting Bert's Paintings for us. Let's support another club! Cast- Fee ($40) April 15th (Link to instructions). We are building the set every day (Mon-Friday) this week. Even if you are not on set crew, we need as many people working as soon as possible. Almond, come over as soon as you can and I will let you in early. Please come and earn thespian points and help us finish the set. We will most likely meet on Sunday as well to finish up detail work but the time will be announced later in the week. Progress is happening! We are excited to see Supercal tonight at the Live Arts Festival. Please review the schedule (attached). Some crews will be meeting more often to finish up the set/props/costumes. April 1st (Tonight)- Live Arts Festival Performance of Supercal. Save the date, cast will get to perform (Cast is performing tonight!. Crew and Pit come to support the fine arts at Warren! Meet in the Almond Band Room at 7:15pm. We will release at 6pm that day (today) to get over to Almond/eat dinner. We perform at 7:40. Cast Fee ($40) April 15th (Link to instructions) Cast- Shoes due today! Saturday- Several cast/crew/pit members are going to Matilda downtown on a drama/choir field trip, but Kyle (tech director) is planning on building from noon-6:30pm on Saturday. We realize this was not on the original schedule, so it is not required, but we need to get the set done so please come if you can. Tomorrow, we have a long rehearsal from 1:30-6:30pm. We want to get as much done as possible before break. Great job! When we get back from spring break, things will get serious! We will be in the show month. Crazy how time has flown by. Cast, make sure you are memorized by the time you come back so that we can make this show great! Pit, be familiar with all the music when you return. Crew, be ready to kick into high gear after spring break. Please see the attached schedule for the week after spring break! Spring Break- Build will be announced by the day for spring break. Kyle (tech director) has a fluid schedule and will let us know by the day when he is building. We will send out a text when he wants people to help. If you are on vacation, no problem you are not required to come to build. Any extra hands are greatly appreciated.
